10 easy steps to get involved and make a difference.
1. Get permission from your work place.
2. Pick your date
3. Register below.
4. Let everybody in your work place know. Send e-mails, staff intranet, put posters up.
5. This is the fun part! Ask around your work place and get everybody involved, there are lots of ideas for activities and games below.
6. Contact your local newspaper and radio. Your local media is there to support you and show your community how you are making a difference. Get in touch with them and let them know what you are doing.
7. Match Giving - will you company match what employees raise? This is tax efficient for th company and a great way to double your money.
8. Send your proceeds to Action Duchenne. The quicker you send in your money the sooner it starts making a difference.
9. Snap away - There is no better way to show how much fun raising funds for Action Duchenne can be. We would love to recieve your pictures from the day. A good picture is also a great way to get in your local paper. Send a copy to them with how much you have raised.

Here are just a handful of fundraising ideas to get your creative juices flowing!
Dressing differently - If your organisation has a casual dress code, wear something blue / or formal attire, or have a crazy hair or hat day.
Match donations - Find out if your company has a matched giving scheme whereby they will match £ for £ the amount raised by employees.
Challenging your peers - Hold competitions at lunchtime within your workplace. Bring in a dart board and charge 50p for three darts - closest to the bull’s eye wins a prize.
Everyone has to eat - Host a potluck lunch and charge admission. Or host a bake sale or book sale and invite other organisations from your building or local area to join in.
Raffle or tombola - Boost funds by holding a raffle or tombola throughout the Dress Down Day. Sell Action Duchenne National Raffle draw tickets on the day (request raffle tickets on your registeration).
Quiz - Organise a quiz and charge each individual or team an entry fee.
Sweepstakes - Hold a sweepstake, or even a few.
The ideas are endless. Be creative, have fun and know that you are helping to make a difference.
