A project which is aimed at children between 3-11 years getting them to grow and care for sunflowers with fun filled activities including word searches, colouring and naming of part of the plant, quiz and also diary of the progress of the sunflower, which support Key Stage 1 and 2 learning as well as learning about Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Each child will is asked to make a donation of £1.00 for the pack which contains the sunflower seeds and information about planting sunflowers. Can be done alongside a non uniform day, where we would be happy to come and give an assembly or give the teacher some tips and information about Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and ways of explaining to the school.
Each child that raises over £10 and returns it to us by 30th June 2012 will receive a special limited edition Seeds of hope pencil case and pencils.
