Exciting events happening in Thamesmead
I organised a christmas event at my sons local school discovery in thamesmead.My day started with baking homemade ginger bread cookies yummy what a treat. i then went to the school set up a fantastic stall with action duchenne goodies and also had various other items that friends and family donated to sell
the day raised a lot of awareness about my son adams condition and also raised 250.00 pounds not bad for an hour and a halfs work. also my son adam had loads of fun when i invited the local community police to come he even got a ride in the police car made his day!!!

Jen is a star! She has launched herself into fund raising activity since she and hubby Has heard that Adam had MD in September 2007. The sale at the local school was really fun and Jen had organised it all in a matter of weeks! Jen had family and friends help out with donated goods, raffle prizes and food , dad Has got his mates from the Post Office along and the local police Safer Neigbourhood team were all there too!! The school was great in offering the venue and Has and Jen were delighted to have made a good start to raising awareness and raised a good amount for Action Duchenne. Adam is a beautiful boy, he has a lovely little sister and a lovely family.

I was so sad not to be able to make it. Jen is fantastic, the day was a great success, and the community are happy to give all the support they can. They are a great family - best wishes to you all.

Hi Jen Hows it going, glad to hear that your event went so well. We have the London Valentine Love Run coming soon will you or any of your friends or family be able to help either or even do the run?. We need 4 more marshalls.
