An event was arranged called the Family Friendly Film Festival organised by the Family Friendly organisation for young disabled people, at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. It was to raise money for Charley's Fund in the United States and for Action Duchenne in the United Kingdom, to go into funding research into a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy!
