Many people are going throught the process of trying to adapt their homes and have rightly many questions about how things should look or is right for people living with Duchenne. I have been asked many times what is best so I thought it would be useful to some to see some photo’s these are usually better than trying to explain ! these photo’s are off my sons extension and work very well for us, the only thing we would have done differently from 7 years ago when it was built is to have a wet room ie. bath and shower we are going to alter the bathroom soon to incorporate a seperate shower as well.
