It is really important that you take out insurance that covers your child’s condition. If you do not declare that they have duchenne it may be invalidated and you will not be able to claim. You can ask your child’s consultant to write a letter for your insurers explaining Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Some families have recommended All Clear and American Express.
