Genius

Genius logo (Genius logo 239.jpg)

The Genius Project was officially launched in 2008 at our annual conference. Since then young men with Duchenne and young volunteers aged between 16-25 have been involved in events all around the country. Helping us to raise over £50,000.

Genius is a Vinvolved project and is part of V's national youth volunteering programme aiming to inspire young people aged 16-25 to make a positive impact within their community through volunteering. For more information visit  www.vinspired.com

Our young people have been involved in putting on events from fun days to charity dinners, all which have been a great success, they have helped to raise awareness and funds for Action Duchenne and the young people themselves have learned valuable skills which they can take into the work place and university.

By volunteering with Genius you have a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills and make a difference. We would love you to join us!

Life Thru a Lens

Life Thru a Lens is an innovative and unique photography project.

10 young men all of whom have Duchenne are taking part in an exciting photography project in which they are taking photos or directing shots to show their life with Duchenne. Managed by professional photographer Jason Thompson the project will run until the middle of June and then a selection of photos from each photograph will produced to exhibition standard and put together to form an exhibition which will tour the country.
