Applying for Grants

Thank you for you interest in applying for research funding from Action Duchenne.  There are no specific dates or rounds for applying for a research grant. Action Duchenne will consider high quality applications throughout the year.

Please complete the  pre-application form and send it back to Action Duchenne for review by the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB).

If you are successful at this stage in the application process then you will be informed in around 4-6 weeks and asked to complete a full application form.

Before applying and for more information about Action Duchenne’s research policy, decision making process and timelines, please read our Research Policy documents before submitting an application.

All funding applications will be assessed by the SAB, who give a scientific review of all applications received and provide the Board of Trustees with advice on funding. The final decision on funding allocations will be made by the Board of Trustees.

This application is designed to collect information that will assist us in funding research projects aimed at finding a treatment or potential cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
