Have your say at the Action Duchenne AGM while you are at the Conference 2017

Posted on: October 11th, 2017 | 0 comments

We greatly appreciate the support and energy we receive from our community and hope to make it as easy as possible for you to share your thoughts. To enable as many people as possible to have a say, again this year we will be hosting our AGM at the conference. We welcome your input.

The meeting will be open to all and will take place during lunch from 12.35 to 13.05 on Saturday 11 November 2017 in the Queens Suite at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.

We are holding the AGM to correspond with the Conference to enable as many as possible to attend. Action Duchenne is run by the community, for the community, so your opinions and input into our charity is of paramount importance. The the agenda can be found here; the AGM will cover the following:

  • approval of the last AGM minutes

  • approval of Action Duchenne’s annual report

  • approval of newly appointed trustees

  • and retirement by rotation of trustees.

All Action Duchenne members (those who donate £5 or more per month by Direct Debit) will be able to vote on the above, but we welcome feedback from all our supporters whether they are paid members or not, so please join us and have your say.

We also appreciate that your time is incredibly precious, so please do make time to come to the AGM, so that you can help set the our path for the forthcoming year.

If you are unable to attend but would like to vote by proxy, please click here to download the form and return to us before 09:00am Wednesday 8 November 2017.

Thank you for your continued support.
