"We are dedicated to finding a cure for Duchenne. Acton Duchenne will be raising funds to research for new drugs that are more effective and potent than steroids. We want to push forward our campaign to have a Centre of Excellence within 50 miles of every young person and adults home. We need new medicines and we need to raise the standards of medical care for everyone living with Duchenne and Becker.
Action Duchenne also organises programmes for improving education opportunities and a unique volunteering programme.
