New A-team for Mill Hill / London Borough of Barnet

If you live anywhere in and around the London Borough of Barnet and are affected by Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, please get in touch.

We live in Mill Hill and our son Thomas, aged 3, was recently diagnosed with DMD.  We have a series of fundraising events planned lined up to raise funds for critical research.  If you want to find out what we have planned or let others in the area know about your ideas - or simply want to chat - please post a message or get in contact.  My email is markasilverman@hotmail.com

Looking forward to hearing from you.

best wishes

Mark

The Uggs at Home challenge

Rather than a more simple challenge like swimming the English Channel or trekking to the North Pole, a group of Ugg-loving people will be taking part in the ultimate endurance test this spring.  They have volunteered to remove their trusted boots and leave them at home for a whole week.  These hardy soles...will be abandoning the comfort and style of this famous brand of sheepskin boots, relying on other footwear and taking an Ugg-less step into the unknown.   If you are participating, please add details of your week of abstenance below.  If you are sponsoring someone, add your messages of support either here or at www.justgiving.com/uggsathomeAll successful participants will be added to a roll of honour on this blog!
