Every few weeks or so, there is a report of a new stem cell that will cure a whole range of diseases.

Register »I am currently Professor at the centre for Genetic Medicine Research at the Childrens National Medical Centre 111 Michigan Avenue Washington DC 20010. Previously I spent many years at Imperial College in London as head of the MRC Clinical Sciences research centre based at the Hammersmith Hospital site developing further understanding of the role of satellite cells and other precursor cells in muscle development, disease and regeneration.
