This is our running event of the year organised by Action Duchenne. So it needs to be BIG, and for everyone to feel the love and join us on the 9th february for a valentines run. Flora London Marathon

The Flora London Marathon is the running event of the year. This cruelling event attracts nearly 40,000 runners, huge media attention and lots of funds for charitable causes.

'Good Old Days'

Our AGM will be held at the Epicentre 1-4pm on Sunday 18th May from 1-4pm. The AGM will give you a chance to meet and hear about the latest updates on international research projects. Key clinical trials are happening in Holland and the UK for an exon skipping Gene Theraphy. There are planned trials for PTC124 in three UK centres this year and Summit plc are planning trials for Utrophin up regulation drug. You will also be able to review the charities progress and elect new charity officers.

Edinburgh Marathon and Hairy Haggis Team Relay

The Edinburgh Marathon is a great event, in a great location, and is accessible to anyone who wants to take part. Its a great run for charity, you get to lots of support, have a great day out and raise money for a good cause. So if you register to run for the Edinburgh Marathon then why not run for Action Duchenne.
If you dont want to do the whole of the marathon then join us on The 'Hairy Haggis' Team Relay.
We have places for four teams, this popular race is great fun. The 'Hairy Haggis' Team Relay was introduced to give athletes of all abilities the opportunity to run along the same course of the marathon without having to run the 26.2 miles individually. Teams of four then run splitting the distance between them, the longest leg is approximately 8 miles and the shortest leg is approximately 5 miles.
So are you a team player? If you are then why not get a group of your friends or family together and organise some joint fundraising and training. So take up the challenge and raise some much needed funds for Action Duchenne.
