THE STORY SO FAR

Thanks for visiting our page - here's a little bit about us. We are Andres, Dirk, Jakub, Jerome, John and Thomas - a team of 6 ordinary guys from Tremco illbruck, trying to create something extraordinary for Action Duchenne.

Usually we spend our time manufacturing products for the construction industry, but back in September 2010 we were given the chance to do something much more worthwhile.

The task was simple. To find an organisation that was making a real difference in the world, and then come up with an idea that would raise as much money as possible for them.

The organisation we found was Action Duchenne. The idea we came up with - our very own International Cook Book.

THE PLAN

Don't be fooled - this will not be just another Cook Book. Not just another list of recipes. This one will be different. Really different.

Here's the plan. We're asking everyone in our company, from offices all over the world (Europe, North America, Australia, Middle East) to send us their favourite recipes, to tell us a little bit about themselves, and what makes their recipe special to them.

Now it's your turn. We want you, the Action Duchenne community, to do the same. Think of your favourite dish, tell us what it is, along with a little bit about you and your story.

It can be anything. Absolutely anything. If you have a taste for Thai or a love of lentils, we want to know about it. It might be a big british breakfast or a michelin-star creation. If it's something a bit wierd or wonderful, even better. Whatever your speciality, we want to hear from you. And we want to know a bit about you at the same time.

Remember, you don't even have to be a fan of cooking. As long as you enjoy eating, that's good enough for us. It really doesn't get any easier than that.

THE RESULT

We don't know.

That's what makes this so special - we really have got no idea what you are going to send us, or where this is going to end. That's the fun part - anything could happen.

The only thing we do know for sure is that this is going to be something special, something unique, and something we hope will raise a large amount of money for Action Duchenne.
