Hi,

I'm running the Adidas Women's 5K run in Hyde Park in September. I will be running to raise money for much needed research into a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). DMD is a muscle wasting condition, mostly affecting boys. The extent of muscle wasting can put most of the DMD patients into a wheelchair by the age of 10 years and life expectancy is limited to mid-twenties. As yet there is no cure. My 6 year old cousin has DMD and I'd like to see him benefit from a cure soon.
