Well Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy...
What a subject, eh?

I’m now 22 years old living with DMD...
22 years of my life muscle weakening!!!
I’ve lost various functions which my body used to be able to do but no longer can or can but struggling to operate!

Walking in the shoes of living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, or should I say not-walking in the shoes...
I’ve walked miles in this pit of danger - I’ve swallowed down a thousand years of anger and I’m not the only one – this is what we all feel but we channel this aggression in different ways....
We are all soldiers of all ages!!!

We have lost many comrades which are now angels! We shall install their spirit within ourselves, our hearts and soul – making us stronger as a unit, which can only bring us, closer together as one!!!

One thing we all have though is intelligence... You can’t take that away from us you - F’ing ba****d illness!!!

You may have taken my body functions, my food pleasure as I can’t eat and literally taken my freedom but, you will never....
EVEEEEER take my soul and spirit!!!

Duchenne is losing its grip on us....
WE WILL SLAY THE MONSTOR!

Funny to think from outside the box looking in that its actually more challenging mentally rather than physically... As I’ve said in the past we have been dealt with a death sentence on our head, never knowing when its time!

Some may die along the way... could be me but I guarantee that I will leave my mark – helping the generation now and the future generation, I will not just accept this!!!

My passion is Action Duchenne and to be honest I prefer working for the wonderful, amazing charity rather than going back into college or further training...
It has given me a goal in life a reason to keep going in life - I feel at home here!!!

I will vanish, the illness into the deep seas of hell fire and brimstone!!!
Send it to hell and for every boy, young man and even their loved ones, I would gladly put them before me and sacrifice myself!

Together we will move mountains!!!
