AimeeWellington has no upcoming events.
I love girlie movies like Clueless, Mean Girls, Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, but you can't beat the classic Disney movies. Beauty and and Beast is my all time favourite!
Britney Spears, the Pussycat Dolls, Lady Gaga and all that really chessy pop
My name is Aimee and I'm from South Wales, but I'm currently studying in Exeter Uni. My nephew, Ellis, was diagnosed with DMD a few years back.
He's such a loving, content child. He and his siter, Lauren, are my world...even when they are stealing my food.
For a good while after Ellis was diagnosed I didn't want to know. I totally shut it out of my mind and pretended it wasn't happening. But sooner or later we all have to face our fears and rather than be miserable and give up I thought 'let's be positive'. After all, there's a cure out there somewhere and one day (hopefully soon) it will be discovered.
Now I'm focussed on raising as much money as possible for Action Duchenne. I always said that the one thing I could never do was bungi-jumping, but if it comes to the point where bungi-jumping will raise money then I'll do it...I'll probably have to be medicated first, but I'll do it :D
For now I'll stick to the kind of fundraising that takes place on the ground, but I'll do whatever it takes to help my nephew and boys like him.
A group of us will be taking on Swansea's infamous 'Mumbles Mile', calling into pubs and trying ...
Thanks to the support of some very kind friends who have generously agreed to give up their time, I'm starting to organise an exciting new fundraiser :D
