I think my fave movie of all time has to be Alien or Aliens, both easily the most terrifying films I've ever seen.

I also love Blade Runner, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and really like Asian horror and martial arts films such as The Ring and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.

Over Christmas I went to the IMAX at Cardiff Bay to watch Avatar and was completely blown away!

Music

I used to really be into heavy metal but have mellowed somewhat recently.

Favourite artist is probably David Bowie but also love The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Rage Against The Machine, most drum n bass, The Stone Roses, Pixies, Guns n Roses and I'm also partial to a bit of hip hop.

Who am I?

Hi everyone! My name's Ben and I'm a student at Cardiff University. As part of my course I'm carrying out a study involving interviews with young men with Duchenne. Both Pauline Brace and Angela Stringer have been extremely helpful in helping set this up.

What's This Study About Then?

By carrying out interviews with young men living with Duchenne I hope to gain some insight into what it's like living with this condition on a daily basis. Very little work has been carried out in this area and I hope this study will provide those who wish to a chance to tell their own story.

Haven't I Received a Letter About This Study?

Action Duchenne have been very helpful in sending out invitations to take part in this study so some of you may have already received a letter about this.
