Edinburgh Big Fun Run

Saturday 3rd October 2009 saw the gathering of 13 brave people take part in the Edinburgh Fun Run to help raise awareness and funds for Action Duchenne.

The weather can only be described as terrible with very strong winds and rain. Even the event organisers found their blow up start and finish point being blown over with the winds!

However even the forces of nature could not deter our Action Duchenne runners as they joined the other runners to complete the 5k run.

A big well done and thank you to Kate Campbell and her work friends and Sarah Denniston and friends for taking part. Also thanks goes out to the people that came along and braved the weather to support the runners.
