Sunday 23rd May brought thousands of people together as this years Edinburgh Marathon took place.

As you can see from the photographs Action Duchenne had fantastic support from the 14 confirmed runners on the day. We had Niall Patterson along with Bill McKechnie take part in the full marathon, while 8 people from RAF Boulmer based in Alnwick cover the course with 2 relay teams and Sarah Denniston together with her husband and brother in law run the half marathon.

Everyone taking part helped raise awareness of the charity and condition by wearing Action Duchenne running vests, while fundraising efforts between them all has hit around the £2,000 mark!

A big thank you to everyone who took part on the day and the supporters that came along to cheer the runners on. Everyone's efforts and hard work helps us get ever closer to our main goal and is greatly appreciated.
