Sunderland Sea Front Sponsored Walk

Patrick Bailly along with supporters and friends took to the streets of the sea front on Sunday 10th July 2011 to take part in a sponsored walk to help raise awareness and funds for Action Duchenne.

With the weather being in favour of those taking part the sponsored walk got under way with the route concentrated on the most popular area of the Sunderland coast.

Starting out at Whitburns Bents Road car park the route took those taking part to Sunderland Yacht Club and then back again covering around 5 miles.

This is the second annual sponsored walk arranged by Patrick along this route and was just as successful as the previous year.

A fantastic amount of £326.17 was raised on the day with monies still to be collected from sponsorship gained by those taking part! A big well done to everyone who took part and helped raise great awareness and funds for Action Duchenne.
