My name is Iain and I am the Action Duchenne Regional Development Officer for the South East, South West & Wales. I am based out of Head Office in London, but having come from an Army family I've lived all over my regions including Bath, Bristol, Surrey (several houses), Kent & Newport so am pretty familiar with the areas
INTERESTS
I follow sport avidly, mainly Football, Rugby & Tennis (probably in that order). Of late I've started playing again a bit as well. I'm very happy down the pub or in the park, and I spend more time playing video games than I ought to!
Withnail & I (sheer unadulterated genius)
80's Sci Fi (it was a golden era for Sci Fi, think: Back to the Future, The Terminator, Aliens, Blade Runner, The Thing, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure)
Also Dumb & Dumber, Jacob's Ladder, Apocalypse Now, Lost Boys, Leon, This is Spinal Tap (in fact too many to mention)
Very eclectic really: Jimi Hendrix, Massive Attack, Interpol, Bjork, Daft Punk, TV on the Radio, Radiohead, OutKast, A Tribe Called Quest.
Basically NOTHING from X-Factor
Having attended the Action Duchenne National Meeting on Saturday and then seeing 13 of our supporters run in the London Marathon on Sunday it feels as though real progress is being made amongst the Duchenne community.
