jaynemthomas has completed her zip slide off the Tyne Bridge. It was a brilliant experience and is so pleased the weather stayed dry during our slide, although it was very very cold. Thank you to all who supported me. It has been a brilliant response and also given a lot of opportunity to answer questions and give information to those who were interested. Sponsorship is still coming in and still open to new offers!!!

Music

Mainly classical or relaxing, easy listening. But I like most music apart from monotonous rap!! Don't mind good rap but not the monotonous stuff - and why can't they buy a belt to keep their trousers up rather than keep hanging on to them (or is it something else they hang on to?)

Interests

Eating out, helping in Mum's and Toddlers, St John's Ambulance, meeting people, painting (mainly looking at other people's work), sewing and crafts (intermittently), church activities, pub quizzes, keeping in touch with family.

Spreading the word of the risks not only to families already affected by Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy but to any baby conceived. Ever heard of spontaneous mutation? It happens (it happened to my grandson Zak)and anyone is at risk!!
