I have had to use a wheelchair since I was ten; you might think that was sad, but I love my powered chair - it is red with flames, and it means I can go really fast - faster than I could when my legs were getting weaker and I kept falling over.
Of course I would prefer it if I didn't need a wheelchair at all, but since I do it is good to have a cool one!
I am lucky to have two homes - I go to school in Pontypridd because I live most of the time with my Mum in Caldicot, but when I can I go to stay with Dad and Tracy in Worle. We do lots of things, but one of the things I like best is to go collecting for Action Duchenne and to get money to help my dad to be able to have me to stay (he had to buy a special car that would take my wheelchair, for example). Have a look at my profile to see what we did in 2009, and if you would like to make a donation to help Action Duchenne find a cure for my disease, you can do that here too.
