Just recently I had the opportunity to stand on stage in front of nearly four hundred people and tell them just what being a parent of a boy with Duchenne is really like-no fluff, no hiding, just the truth. By the end of my five minutes I had the whole room in tears and a donation of £4k for Action Duchenne. My plea to you all is don't be shy and tell as many people as you can about yourselves and what Duchenne is all about and collectively lets make ourselves heard and make a difference.
