The Love Run Appeal

Proving that romance is far from dead, in the UK, individual average spend on Valentine gifts is thought to be £71.25 with those in a relationship spending a little less!

This year, if you are unable to join us and run for a cure in the Annual National Love Run, why not join the Love Run Appeal and donate your Valentine gift to Action Duchenne to help us raise money for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

How do I do it?

What is the Love Run?

As our supporters shed pounds we make pounds in the annual national love run. Together we successfully raise over £50,000. Every penny goes directly to Action Duchenne and medical research into Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

Working with the Duchenne community the Annual National Love Run enables us to engage with even more family, friends, work colleagues and sometimes whole schools, villages and football teams in our fight to find a cure for Duchenne. This keeps Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in the public eye while building an army of more and more dedicated supporters.

Where does my money go?

Last year we invested $1.2 million in medical research. The advancements being made as a result of this investment have already produced some of the most promising results seen yet; details of which can be found on the website in the Action section. This year we need to raise more money than ever before to keep these developments happening.
