It costs £1 to take part and we will send you a pack complete with Sunflower seeds and instructions. All you need to do is grow some beautiful sunflowers and raise a bit of sponsorship to get your badges or bronze, silver or gold medals.

Seeds of Hope is eco friendly; Encourages positive outdoor play and links to the national curricular (Key stage 1 & 2) making it a great project for schools as well as a great project for young people to do at home on their own or with friends, while learning.

I hope that everyone will take part and we fill the UK with sunflowers this summer!

It's only £1 per person to take part and the money raised will go towards funding vital research which will help to save the lives of children living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

These research projects really are the Seeds of Hope to all those affected by Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

For those of you, like me, who aren't fortunate enough to have your own garden, don't worry, I've checked, you can grow sunflowers indoors, we just need so high ceilings! Or why not try your local communal garden space or contact your local park and make it a neighbourhood project!
