Thomas was diagnosed with DMD in january 2008 at the age of 6 months.
He had jaundice when first born, and was therefore rountinely tested for liver function (all was well) but the results showed a high CK level.

We've taken part in a triathlon in 2008, and are taking part again in 2011, in order to raise money for Action Duchenne.

In 2009, our local Mayor of Cheshire East adopted Action Duchenne as one of her 'charities of the year', and we managed to raise £7000.
