A Curry Night and and raffle was held at the Maharaja Restaurant, Benfleet Essex,hosted by Mr Sirage Ali and organised by my sister Kim Greenfield,Leon's aunty and ably asssited by Leon's mum Amanda.
The evening was a great success, and we raised about £1500 by running "A GRAND PRIZE DRAW", with prizes kindly donated by local businesses, family and friends. Entertainment was provided by a guest appearance of a Robbie Williams tribute act "Maximum Robbie" who performed some of Robbie's greatest hits, much to the delight of the girls in the crowd!! The evening was rounded off with dancing to the sound of the resident DJ's, Adrian and Lol Greenfield, Leon's cousin and uncle. We will be looking to organise One major event per year, with perhaps a charity football match on the cards for next year!
