Family Life

Hi,Iam Yvonne Widd ,and married to Dean Widd, and have three children Ryan and Arryn and Mia who is two years old now, whom I love all very much. Arryn and Ryan are really happy with their new sister,and loves holding and helping out.Arryn was aged around 5yrs old when he was diagnosed in 2003 with Duchenne(spontaneous mutation),This means any boy concieved may be at risk.This hit us all very hard,as a family, that we were left feeling lost,numb and no where to turn,and life turned upside down.We got involved with Action Duchenne,and met up with other parents in the same position.All our hopes and dreams are to find a cure for all the boys to survive this life threating condition,and to have a excellant quality of life.

This day,went really well and very proud of all whom participated in their emotional presentations and speeches, many parents and grandparents, including myself could not hold back our tears for these boys,in which we continue to fight for their survival and a possible cure/treatment in BMD/DMD.
