About Me

I'm Meshi, am 27 and have DMD! Taken me a while to update this section....."But better late than never"
I just tried to enjoy life and get on with things, until last year when Duchenne really hit home as I spent a very hard 3 months in hospital!! I nearly lost my fight, which has given me the inspiration to try and raise awareness and raise money for a cure! As I believe that a "Change is Going to Come" I created a leaflet and have based the fundraising I am involved on these words!
I have done a few presentations based on these words "A Change is Gonna Come" (in words of Sam Cook)
I did a talk at a freind of mine Lorna's church. They had named Action Duchenne as their charity of the year!
I organisined a Indian Summer Fete with the help of family and freinds in July this year 2010. Future events in the pipeline
