My name is Belinda Kelly, I live in Wolverhampton with my Husband Eddie and my three children Sarah, Kyle and Kane. Kane was Diagnosed with Duchenne in 2007 when he was six years old.The diagnosis has turned our world upsidedown

Hi Belinda, I hope you are all well, sorry to hear about the problem with the car tyre! But great news about the house!!! Im so pleased to hear this.
OK we went for wooden flooring, not laminate, we have engineered wood which will withstand the wheelchair weight. Its also easy to keep clean so no worries about dirty wheels!!! Carpet also can move around when you turn the wheelchair etc so thats why we went for the wood. Have had a few visitors in wheelchairs here and all say its the best flooring. Josh can even self propel on this for a short time, he cant usually.
