Rhys disagnosis

the joyce family consists of me (diane) stuart (dad) Rhys (10) and owain (8).We moved to Wales when Rhys was 7 months old at this time we didnt know a thing or that anything was wrong with him.It wasnt untill he started nursery that we noticed something different about him ie not as confident as his class mates,or as agile didnt run around the same.Went to see doctor she said it was dyspraxia refered then to childrens clinic in local hospital where he under went blood tests.We were then called backon our own and told the devastating news not ofered any help advice nothing. Found out everything we now know ourselves.

my name is rhys i am 10 years old i have duchenne muscular dystrophy i wanted to have a page on this web site and i cant because im not old enough. Can we have a page for all us under 13s .my mum gave .me permission to do this on her page

Hi Diane, just read Rhys wants a page, my son also wants his own and hes just 10 too.
Some set up family pages, Rhys could be involved in that, I understand he may be sad about not having his own page. Do post on the forums as there is a thread to suggest changes and improvements, if you write about it there it may be acted upon, I am sure it is child prtection issues which has set this age range for own pages.
Take care, hope to see you all at the lobby if you can make it, lovely seeing you at the workshop, so funny that you both walk in and everyone knows your names! It was like your own welcoming committee!! lol x
