marysmith Steve and I attended the "Life Thru a Lens" exhibition at the Centre for Life, Newcastle Upon Tyne on Thursday 11 March 2010. The exhibition was excellent and we both have the utmost admiration for the young men involved. It was an honour to meet both Chris and Carl who both made the effort to come up to Newcastle for this event.

Movies

Love comedies like Dumb and Dumber, Liar Liar, Blazing Saddles, the original Pink Panther Movies with Peter Sellers. Also like a weepie now and again, such as Affair to Remember (think thats what you call it - with Debra Kerr and Cary Grant). I also love Pride and Predjudice (the 1940 original with Lawrence Olivier), Emma, Jane Ayre, Sense and Sensibility etc.

Music

Love all types of music (apart from the 80's!) Like rock, pop, soul, R&B. Like the old stuff like Nat King Cole, Sinatra, etc.

Interests

I seem to spend most of my time either at work, or at home doing washing, housework etc! Love spending time with my family. I also have a go with James on his XBox and Wii. Getting quite good at Guitar Hero! (Pat Benatar eat your heart out!). Steve and I also love to go to our favorite resturant - Bruno's in Cullercoats for a well earned treat (mmm - Surf & Turf!).
