Why we raise funds to support Action Duchenne

•Action Duchenne raises money to fund research for the treatment and to find a cure for Duchenne. Money goes directly into research for Duchenne.
•Without Action Duchenne we would not have had the DMD registry. Without the registry we would not have been involved in a trial which will hopefully still greatly improve the quality of Ben’s life.
•Without Action Duchenne we would not have had the ‘Decipha’ programme which has hugely boosted Ben’s reading ability and confidence.
•Without Action Duchenne we would not have made contact with & been provided with the level of specialist information about caring for a boy with Duchenne. This has impacted greatly on Ben’s quality of life.
