Movies

No real favourites - I love the whole "going to cinema" escapism bit, but not keen on action blockbusters or horror.
Can happily do comedies or anything that does not take itself too seriously!

Music

I am old enough to have been hooked on Beatles/ Stones and early Motown back in the 60's. but also love a lot in the Classical tradition and World music (especially vocal works), and a great deal of modern music. At the moment I listen to The Unthanks, Bare Naked Ladies...but still love to get out Crowded House and Divine Comedy CDs.

Interests

Walking, reading, chatting to friends over cups of tea. I am good at ways to avoid going to the gym - but in the last year took up running in a very small, stately way. Amazed myself by completing 5km without stopping or walking this year- a first for me. Now have to consolidate and aim for more before I reach 60. I have 3 adult children who nag me to try harder. Have pretty big garden so grow veg and keep chickens and geese. Really enjoy my work with Decipha and still like teaching.
