A group of 26 friends and family of Ben Culhane (pictured), aged 12, who suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, are undertaking a 160 mile bike ride across East Anglia over 3 days in May. The longest I've ever done before is a fraction of that, so this will be a challenge for me, but at least it's fairly flat! It would be great if you were able to support us and make a donation to Action Duchenne, to help find better treatment and maybe even a cure for this terrible disease. Anything you are able to afford will be very gratefully received and will really make a difference to the work that Action Duchenne is able to undertake. Thank you.
NEWFLASH - we made it! An 80 mile slog the first day was longer than planned due to dodgy navigation. The second day was tough facing into gale force winds. The last day was through beautiful countryside but very tough hills - "the Suffolk Alps"! Total 175 miles. Thanks again to all our supporters - we couldn't have done it without you!
