About Us

I am Mum to Cameron and step Mum to Ben, who are 5 and have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

I waited patiently for Cameron to arrive for 2 years and on the 25th October 2005 my dreams came true and I gave birth to my precious little boy.
Along the way mothers instinct told me something was not quite right as Cameron walked late, wouldnt run at all and struggled to climb stairs.
In May 2009 I was told the devastating news that me beautiful son had Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I am still struggling to come to terms with this diagnosis and cant believe that this horrible wasting disease is in my sons little body but I will never give up hope of finding a cure.
Even on my darkest days I will stay strong for my son and make sure he has a full, loving, happy and wonderful life.
I want to say thank you to my friends and family who have shown me a level of support I never knew possible.

In 2011 I Married Alan Stewart and became step Mum to Benjamin. Both boys are my world and I will continue fighting for a cure until the day I die.
