My Name is Heidy, my husband is Paul we have been married for 14 years and we have 3 boys Samuel (8), Edward (5) & Thomas(3). Edward has DMD and was diagnosed in May 2007. Untill shortly after the diagnosis I did not know, but I am a carrier. After presuming we were lucky to have 3 healthy boys, we were devastated to find out Edward had DMD. We found Action Duchenne and since then what has been achieved is amazing. The hope we had then and the hope we have now in only 2 years is massive. Thank you Janet & Nick for starting Action Duchenne.

Manchester Run 2009

Freemasons in the Northwest

We attended the Charity giving night at the Freemasons Hall, Bridge Street, Manchester last Wednesday 6th May and collected 3 cheques amounting to £325.00 Many Thanks to all the lodges who have made donations to us for Action Duchenne. They have been a great support since Edward was diagnosed. I am sure many others have made donations up and down the country and our sincere thanks goes out to you all.
