REGIONAL ADVOCATE
Earning £38,000 OTE (on target earnings)
Action Duchenne is spearheading campaigns and funding research for a cure and better medical care for the severe muscle wasting disease Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The Charity works with volunteers and relies upon the enthusiasm and generosity of parents, supporters and young people living with Duchenne to help raise funds and awareness. We have recently received funding from the vinvolved – national youth volunteering programme for work with volunteers to expand our Regional Advocate Team and our work with young people between the ages of 16-25 and their families.
The organisation is based in London with regional advocates in the North West and North East we are now looking to recruit three new Advocates to work in the Midlands, London and the South West. The London Advocate will be based at the head office, while the other Regional Advocates will work from home.
We are seeking committed and enthusiastic people to help us grow and improve our work in supporting our families and young people to raise funds and awareness. You will have to be flexible, work well with a range of people and lead on event ideas and organising volunteers.
