My name is Pauline Brace and I am the Regional Development Officer for the Midlands & Wales. I have been involved with the charity for several years as a parent, and in December 2008 I actually started working for Action Duchenne. Before having a family and taking time out to be a full time mum, I worked as a laboratory technician. I have 4 children, my youngest is Joshua who was diagnosed with Duchenne in 2004 when he was 5 years old.

I really enjoy working with our families and supporters in the many and varied fundraising activities taking place across the Midlands and Wales. In 2009 I was joined by a group of 5 others to do a 12,000 feet a tandem skydive; I am sure there will be many more exciting and fun activities taking place in 2010.
