Since joining Action Duchenne in August 2010, I have worked across the organisation, predominantly on fundraising and events. I now project manage our annual Action Duchenne International Conference and am in charge of our corporate partnerships and stakeholders and ensure the smooth running of our projects and events.

Prior to studying law at the University of Birmingham I took 6 months out to teach in East Africa. As a graduate, I spent 3 years working in the Commercial Banking sector in Bristol. Following this, I moved to London and volunteered in the Hackney Citizens Advice Bureau before joining Action Duchenne.

It has been an enormous honour to work for the Duchenne community and I'm excited to see what can be achieved in the coming years, to improve the lives of all living with Duchenne.
