After studying biology at Edinburgh University, I spent approximately 8 years studying and working in several research laboratories. In 2011 I decided to specialise in research communication and have since worked with Muscular Dystrophy UK and at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute.

It is really exciting to be returning to work within the Duchenne community and to join the Action Duchenne team. With research and clinical trials of potential treatments gaining momentum, we'll be working hard to identify cutting-edge areas to support and I particularly looking forward to communicating the results of Duchenne and Becker research and clinical trials to families and the community.
