In 2018 Duchenne Dad, Lex Ellison cycled for 24 hours between St Neots and Godmanchester. He covered the route over 20 times, reaching a total of 214 miles. He was accompanied on the final leg of his journey by his eldest son. The event picked up local interest and the small cycling group were met by a crowd of supporters at their finish line.

Watch the live video as the whole family crossed the finish line together.

This year, you can take part!

St Neots Rugby Club have offered support and their venue to be the base for the 24 hours, enabling us to open the event up to you, our amazing supporters!

Feel amazing as you take on a mental and physical challenge of cycling for 24 hours. Test your mettle to keep going through the night and be rewarded by the beautiful sunrise on the Sunday morning.

You can choose how long you cycle, your own speed and the distance you cover. You can even cycle with your children, its entirely your choice. Sign up as a team, relay or on your own.

Registration is £25 per adult, with a fundraising target of £250.

Children can register for free, with a fundraising target of £50 (each leg of the journey is about 10 miles so please bear it in mind that the final Godmanchester to St Neots leg may be a great distance for the children to join in).

After party

The Ellison family will be holding an 'after-party' for all the family at the Rugby Club from midday until 2pm on Sunday 30 June, so bring your family and friends to welcome you over the finish line and enjoy the celebrations.

The route

Taking in the lovely Cambridgeshire countryside, this route includes a couple of steep hills, but is otherwise very flat and cycle-friendly.
