Leon’s life was full of courage, laughter, and love. Though he lived with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, it never defined him. Leon was brave, hilarious, kind, and endlessly determined – a gamer, a thinker, and a quiet fighter who inspired everyone around him.
In his memory, incredible friends and family came together to keep his spirit alive.
Garry, a close friend of Leon’s family, ran the London Marathon 2023 for us after earning a ‘Good for Age’ spot. He trained around a busy work schedule and completed the marathon just before Leon unexpectedly passed. Garry continues to dedicate his runs to Leon.
Then, in September, a fantastic group of Leon’s loved ones took on the Vitality London 10k in his honour. With one runner also taking on the London Marathon 2026.

These efforts remind us of the strength of family, friendship, and community – and the power of coming together to make a difference. Together they raised £10,000.
Every donation helps us support families affected by Duchenne and fund vital research. Let’s keep Leon’s legacy alive.
Help us be there for EVERY family affected by Duchenne, EVERY time
