Family Science Education Day and Charity Dinner Dance

Join us for a Family Day at Birmingham’s Think Tank Science Museum followed by a Charity Dinner Dance in Aid of Action Duchenne.

We are thrilled to invite you to a unique and meaningful event in support of Action Duchenne. This special occasion brings together families, supporters, and the wider community for a day of fun and adventure.

Here’s what’s in store for you:

Let’s kick off with a light lunch together and chat at 1pm. Adults can continue to chat whilst the young people take part in a fun workshop with Sublime Science. 

Workshop with Sublime Science

Join us for an interactive and fun-filled workshop led by Sublime Science! The team will guide you through exciting experiments and activities, designed to spark curiosity and inspire young minds while supporting a great cause.
Family Science Education Day
Walk Around the Thinktank Museum

After the workshop, we will take a fascinating walk through the Thinktank Museum, where you and your family can explore interactive exhibits and dive into the wonders of science and technology. It’s a perfect chance to learn together and spark new interests!
Complimentary Overnight Stay at a Local Hotel

We’ve arranged a comfortable overnight stay at a local hotel, allowing you to relax and enjoy the event without any worries. It’s a chance to unwind and make the most of this special weekend.
Charity Dinner Dance at Aston Villa Football Club

The evening will culminate in a spectacular Charity Dinner Dance at Aston Villa Football Club, organised by Ruth Taylor and committee. Enjoy a delicious meal, live entertainment, and dancing, all while supporting Action Duchenne. Your participation in this event helps raise vital funds for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy research and awareness.

Location: Millennium Point, B4 7AP then on to Aston Villa Football Club, B6 6HE
Dress Code: Smart for the Charity Dinner Dance
Time: 1-3pm day activities 7-11pm evening dinner dance
Free of charge event
