About the experts

Emma and Maria work at Treloar School and College in Hampshire. Treloar’s is a specialist school and college for young people with physical disabilities. Between them, Emma and Maria have over twenty years of experience of working with young people with SEND and have a wealth of experience and knowledge within this specialist area.

They also work collaboratively with Local Authorities across the UK so have a unique understanding of their processes and how to manage negating potential challenges throughout the EHCP and funding journey.

They have both supported young people and families through the complex process of ensuring they get the right support both into school and/or college and for life beyond education. Support has included supporting families through the EHCP process, providing support at mediations and tribunals.
