Where’s my chair?

Action Duchenne’s Where’s my chair? campaign set out to achieve full wheelchair access for people living with Duchenne.

We had a fantastic response from both families and health practitioners to our survey earlier this year and we will be reporting soon on the findings of our research.

We are currently meeting with key NHS  professionals working in physiotherapy and occupational therapy to ensure that the report accurately responds to best practice and the Duchenne standards of care. 

We will then make a series of recommendations to form the basis of future engagement with health commissioners across the UK.

In the meantime we would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this important piece of work.
