Take part in small group sessions at the Conference

At the Action Duchenne International Conference, not only will you be able to chat with experts during the weekend, ask your questions through the Q and A facility, but we have also arranged small group sessions with experts that you can book onto!

Already registered? You will have access to the Conference Platform, where you can view and book the group sessions in the left side bar (see below)

Not registered yet? Register here for the Conference, you will receive your Conference Platform login details the next working day. Please then enter the Conference Platform, update your profile, check out the sessions and book on a group session (as per instructions above).

What small group sessions are available to book?

  • Meet a researcher – 2 x small group chats with researcher Dr Keith Foster. Ask any questions you have about his work in Duchenne and find out what he is currently working on.
  • UK DMD Registry – 2 x Q and A sessions. The UK DMD registry is curated by Action Duchenne. Book to join Angela and Neil to get an answer to your questions and to find out more.
  • Mutation Masterclass – Find out about each of the Duchenne mutations and have your questions answered in an easy to understand way. Each 20 minutes session is led by expert science communicator, our Head of Research Neil Bennett.
  • Adult physiotherapy – 2 x Q and A sessions available to book with Marina Di Marco, Principal Neuromuscular Physiotherapist at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow.
