It was such a amazing and enlightening experience. It was my 1st marathon and everything from the organisers to the volunteers, crowd, residents and runners were absolutely brilliant. Brighton hosts the second-largest marathon in the UK and eighth-largest in Europe. Crowds line the entire route, making it one of the most atmospheric marathon routes in the world. This beautiful marathon starts at Preston Park at 9.45am, makes it’s way through Brighton city centre, along the glorious seafront and finishes at the iconic Madeira Drive in front of thousands of cheering spectators. This is a marathon like no other with a finish like no other!

Entry to the race comes with a medal and goody bag, an official technical t-shirt, a runner number and race pack including kit bag, chip timing, live tracking and results, kit bag storage, water & gel stations, cheer points, bands and music on course, fuel at the finish and access to the Beach Village. The Brighton Marathon training blog is packed full of helpful advice from their team of experts to support your Marathon training.

Run for Action Duchenne

You can be part of our vision, a world where lives are no longer limited by Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

In 2022, run for Action Duchenne and you will be warmly welcomed into our community of amazing supporters and Duchenne families. Every penny you raise will help children, young people and adults living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a rare muscle wasting condition.

With the money you raise

*£20 Could pay for a newly diagnosed family to receive an initial support telephone call and vital information pack.

*£50 Could fund one full hour of research.

*£100 Could contribute to bringing a Duchenne science education event to our families across the UK

*£500 Could help us develop and deliver a support and education webinar
